ملء الفجوات في النظام الصحيّ وأرجل المصابين في غزّة

شهدت تظاهرات مسيرة العودة في قطاع غزّة منذ 30 مارس/آذار 2018 إصابة أكثر من 6 آلاف فلسيطنيّ برصاص الجيش الإسرائيلي. توفر أطباء بلا حدود رعاية ما بعد الجراحة في قطاع غزة المحاصر، لكن الاحتياجات الطبية للفلسطينيين تفوق قدرة المنظمة. تحديث حول مشروع - 24 يناير/كانون الثاني 2019

MSF's Psychologist: Good memories sustain us when things are hard. I say to dedicate a specific time every day to remember the places and people you have lost. But in order to make the most of the present, it is important to accept the reality that you cannot go back to the past.

Patiente: Un bon souvenir de la Syrie? Le jour où j’ai fini mes examens, à l’université. Dans la soirée, on est allés passer du temps ensemble et faire un barbecue dans un parc public.
Psychologue MSF: Les bons souvenirs nous font tenir quand les choses se compliquent. Je leur conseille de prendre un temps spécifique, chaque jour, pour se rappeler des lieux et des personnes que l’on a perdu. Mais pour vivre dans le présent, il est aussi important d’accepter la réalité et le fait qu’on ne pourra pas retourner dans le passé.

Medical tests revealed that Ali presents a multidrug- resistant infection. In conformity with MSF’s infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, Ali has to stay in an isolation room, to avoid the spread of his infection to other patients and medical staff. MSF’s psychologist is visiting Ali regularly to help him deal with his anxiety and to ease his recovery.$

يصل حوالي 40 في المئة من المرضى إلى مرفق مرفق أطباء بلا حدود لرعاية ما بعد الجراحة في الموصل مصابين بعدوى مقاومة للأدوية المتعدّدة، إذ إنّ مقاومة المضادات الحيوية مشكلة متفشية في كافة أنحاء العراق ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط. تحديث حول مشروع - 18 يناير/كانون الثاني 2019

Some 8000 people who fled Rann after attack last night seek shelter in Bodo, Cameroon.
An MSF medical team arrived in Bodo today. There they found more than 8’000 people, (estimate) mostly women and young children. 1’200 people have been able to settle inland and more than 7’000 people are still at the river (border). But people continue to arrive. They have no shelter, no fresh water and fled Rann with no belongings. The local community organized solidarity to provide them with some food. MSF teams are bringing medical supplies and are preparing to support the local health centre there. MSF teams are planning to return tomorrow with emergency food, shelter and a watsan team to support them. This is devastating news for the people in Rann who have already suffered so much.

آلاف النازحين من ران يلتجئون في بودو في الكاميرون

تعرضت بلدة ران في شمال شرق نيجيريا إلى هجوم عنيف يوم 14 يناير/كانون الثاني، ما دفع آلاف الناس إلى الفرار سيراً على الأقدام إلى بودو في الكاميرون، وهم بحاجة إلى الرعاية الطبية والطعام والماء والمأوى. وقد وصل فريق أطباء بلا حدود إلى بودو لتقديم المساعدة. تحديث حول مشروع - 17 يناير/كانون الثاني 2019

Yemen, Mawza, 13 December 2018 – Defused landmines. Mawza is located in Taiz governorate, a 45 minutes-drive to the east of Mocha city. This is a very poor and rural area, people are depending on their land to eat and to earn money. The area was taken over from Ansar Allah’s control by forces loyal to President Hadi, supported by the Saudi and Emirati-led coalition, in the beginning of 2018. Fighting damaged the fields and thus, the livelihood of the 13,000 inhabitants of Mawza. While military troops were withdrawing, thousands of landmines and improvised explosive devices (IED) were planted in the area. Between August and December, MSF teams in Mocha received around 150 people injured by landmines or IED, mainly children playing in the fields. Landmines and IEDs are defused by military forces. Local NGOs are in charge of locating these devices.

Constant influx of newly arrived people have left IDPs living in overcrowded communal shelters (60 to 70 people) or camping in the open under trees. They can stay there for several months before being allocated a personal shelter for their family.
