أزمة اللاجئين الروهينغا

هرب عدد هائل يقدر بنحو 700 ألف شخص من الروهينغا من ميانمار إلى بنغلاديش منذ 25 أغسطس/آب 2017. يعيش اليوم في كوكس بازار أكثر من 900 ألف لاجئ روهينغا في مخيمات اللاجئين في ظلّ ظروف معيشية سيئة للغاية.
On the morning of 7th of June, the team on Geo Barents carried out two rescue operations in the Libyan SAR region. In total, 146 are safely on-board and receiving the care they require. The Italian authorities assigned Genova as a place of safety. In the first rescue, 37 people were found in distress on a white fiberglass boat. As for the second rescue, 109 people were in distress aboard a grey rubber boat.

الهجرة عبر البحر الأبيض المتوسط

كل عام، يحاول آلاف الأشخاص الفارين من الحرب والاضطهاد والفقر في بلادهم الإقدام على رحلة خطيرة عبر البحر الأبيض المتوسط. وفي مثل هذه الرحلات، يتم فقدان عدد لا يحصى من الأرواح.
On 20 November, five MSF vehicles parked in front of our clinic in Gaza city were destroyed by the intervention of the Israeli forces. The clinic was also damaged as a result and part of the building was engulfed by fire for a few hours. The cars and the clinic were clearly identified with the MSF logo. This happened while 21 people, including an MSF staff and his family members, were sheltered in the clinic and more than 50 others were in the guesthouse across the street: luckily, they survived unscathed. The cars that were destroyed were the ones used in the aborted evacuation of our staff and their relatives on 18 November, resulting in the killing of two people. Some of the staff sheltering in the MSF premises that day were witnesses to the incident.

Since the beginning of the project in 2016, the pediatric ward already treated more than 4.000 cases of complicated/severe form of malaria.

نقدّم المساعدات الطبيّة إلى الأشخاص المتضررين من النزاعات والأوبئة والكوارث أو المحرومين من الرعاية الصحية. تتكوّن طواقمنا من عشرات الآلاف من المهنيين الصحيين والموظفين اللوجستيين والإداريين – ويُعيَّن معظمهم محليًا. يرتكز عملنا على الأخلاقيات الطبيّة ومبادئ الاستقلالية والحياد. نحن منظمة لا تتوخى الربح وذات حكم ذاتي وقائمة على الأعضاء.
