LGBTQI+ Inclusion in Health Settings

MSF works with LGBTQI+ populations in many settings over the last 25-30 years. LGBTQI+ people face healthcare disparities with limited access to care and higher disease rates than the general population.

The GeoMSF platform is a dynamic one-stop-shop website for all of MSF's GIS related services and products. Access maps and applications through the catalogue, request geographical support, or produce a map on GeoMSF.

GeoMSF
A boat taking MSF staff to the rural area of Portel travels through a river in the Brazilian Northern state of Pará. MSF is supporting local authorities in order to improve healthcare access to the town’s population. Portel has dealt historically with a lack of health professionals and facilities, particularly in hard-to-reach remote areas which are home to vulnerable river dweller communities.

بابوا غينيا الجديدة

The MSF intervention strategy, in collaboration with Paraguay’s Ministry of Health, consists in bringing Chagas diagnosis and treatment closer to the most isolated communities and building health staff capacities so that they are able to see to the needs of the affected people

باراغواي

MSF’s health promotion (HP) team conducts a health education session for women in a rural village of Dadu. The focus of the HP session is on the importance of hygiene, the prevention of malaria and other diseases and nutrition. February 2023

بلجيكا

MSF HP team in the Harmanli Refugee Center. Harmanli is the first arrival point in Bulgaria for refugees crossing through Turkey. Situated just 50 km from the triple border crossing with Greece and Turkey, it is the largest open Reception and Registration Center in Bulgaria, with a capacity of up to 1,710 individuals. The occupancy rate has surged by 300% since 2020 and MSF initiated a clinic within the Harmanli Reception Center in July 2023.

بلغاريا

بدأت منظمة أطباء بلا حدود عملها في بلغاريا في عام 1981 وأغلقت مشاريعها في عام 2024.

أين نعمل

تقدّم أطباء بلا حدود الإغاثة الطارئة إلى الأشخاص المتضررين جراء النزاعات المسلّحة والأوبئة والكوارث الطبيعية فضلاً عن أولئك المحرومين من الرعاية الصحية في أكثر من 70 بلد. وتوفّر المنظمة المساعدات للأفراد وفقاً لاحتياجاتهم وذلك بغضّ النظر عن العرق أو الدين أو الجنس أو الانتماء السياسي.

كما تمتثل المنظمة في أعمالها لأخلاقيات مهنة الطب ومبدأي الحياد وعدم التحيز.
