This happened for the first time in December [2021]. Then they came again in May [2022]. They demolished the house, twice in a short period of time [after rebuilding in-between]. They came to demolish some shelters here a month ago, at the beginning of July. They come suddenly. They do not give notice. We only see the bulldozers coming to our place. and they demolish the tents."

Jamla, a resident of Khirbet Al-Fakhit gathering, Masafer Yatta. She says: " My name is Jamla Mohammad Ayoub Abu Sabha, I am 37 years old. I live in Khirbet Al-Fakhit. Here, we had a room for the pigeon. there, we had a shelter that was constructed with Italian rocks for the guests. We rebuilt the shelter again. On 11 May 2022, they came and re-demolished them again. It was very difficult situation for the kids, for everyone. On 1 June 2022, they came back to demolish again. The situation is difficult. We cannot build or do anything. Imagine your son is sick and you want to take him to the doctor, but there is no car, and the road is long. If you want to go on foot, you will need a minimum of 4 hours. Even you, healthy, you end up sick. Imagine how the situation is? Kids get sick or someone gets sick at night. For kids or elderly people, the situation is difficult. We also have no public transportation".

On the streets, along railway tracks, in abandoned buildings and on the beach: this is where migrants and refugees live in Ventimiglia after authorities closed the transit camp near the Roja River last July. Despite its shortcomings, the camp was a place to stay for people on the move. Now there is nowhere official to receive them.

MSF has offered mental health consultations in the city of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, since 1996. In Hebron, Palestinian civilians suffer frequent abuses such as the demolition of their homes, arbitrary detention, and systematic attacks by Israeli settlers with the tacit support of the Israeli army. As well as experiencing physical injury men, women, and particularly children suffer from significant long-term mental health impacts of these routine occurrences. The effects of the occupation of Palestinian territory are far-reaching and leave very few people untouched, with children in particular vulnerable to long-term mental health issues as a result of witnessing or suffering traumatic events. Between February and July 2019, MSF reached 8145 people with mental health services, of whom more than 60% were children.
