This logistical centre in Amsterdam purchases, tests, and stores equipment including vehicles, communications material, power supplies, water-processing facilities and nutritional supplements.

MSF is supporting local authorities in order to improve healthcare access to the town’s population. Portel has dealt historically with a lack of health professionals and facilities, particularly in hard-to-reach remote areas which are home to vulnerable river dweller communities.

Belgium

MSF has worked with refugees and migrants in Belgium since 2017.
MSF gynecologist following up on a patient in the maternity ward for women having given birth through a C-section, Klouékanmè Hospital. Dr Dieudonné has been on assignement at the Klouékanmè Hospital since October 2023. He supports the medical team, provides training in obstetrical care and helps organize the department.

Benin

MSF teams explaining prevention and infection control measures to local health workers in Cochabamba (maybe you can add the specific district health structure). Since the beginning of MSF's intervention in the country, the team has organized more than 800 awareness sessions on COVID-19, so that people are sensitized, oriented and have access to correct information about the disease.

Bolivia

MSF worked in Bolivia from 2019 to 2021, providing sexual reproductive healthcare and support in the fight against COVID-19. At the end of 2021 we handed over our activities to the Ministry of Health.
