Democratic People's Republic of Korea
MSF worked to improve TB diagnosis and treatment in DPR Korea.
Democratic Republic of Congo
In DRC, MSF runs some of its largest medical relief operations, working in 17 of 26 provinces, responding to diseases outbreaks, conflict and displacement, and tackling health problems such as HIV/AIDs.
Djibouti
MSF began work in Djibouti in 1978 and closed our projects in 2012. We currently maintain an operational support base for our Yemen projects in Djibouti city.
Ecuador
MSF first worked in Ecuador in 1996; after providing mental health support following two earthquakes in 2016, MSF teams supported the COVID-19 response in 2020.
Egypt
Egypt is a key transit and destination country for African and Middle Eastern refugees and migrants, many of whom have been subjected to violence or persecution in their countries.
