People are getting water from the MSF distribution point in Metche camp. The distribution point is refilled twice a day. In November, the Metche camp is receiving some 6 litres a water per person daily, which is far below the recommended World Health Organisations 20 liters per person per day. Metche camp is some 40 kilometers from Adré, the main entry and settlement town for refugees and returnees coming from Sudan. Almost 40,000 people have been resettled to Metche from Adré.

People continue to be displaced due to surging conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, seeking refuge near Goma. Basic needs such as food, water and sanitation are unmet, and there is a critical lack of measures to protect people from further harm.
