The plastic sheeting makeshift camp made by asylum seekers and migrants in the 'jungle' in Subotica. As temperatures reach well below zero at this time of year, they use all they can to keep warm for the short naps they do until they need to go back near the fire to warm up again. They said the tent they live into was damaged by the police a few days ago. 'They came and set fire to the plastic of the tent and tore it. It didn't burn completely, but it damaged it. They hit some of us with sticks and made a pile with our jackets, blankets and other belongings right behind the camp and burnt them 4 days ago.’ : says a 17 year old Afghan migrant.

A preparer fills a syringe with measles vaccine. Mass vaccination campaigns in emergency situations during outbreaks or for displaced populations, often target at large number of people. The challenge is to be able to achieve this rapidly in order to control an epidemic or the risk of epidemic.<br> More than 100 staff has been recruited to perform the 5 days mass vaccination campaign in Yida. In total around 140 people is working with the campaign. Nine vaccination sites have been set up throughout Yida with teams of 12 consisting of supervisor, vaccinators, preparers, watchmen, crowd controllers and mobilizers.

The Muslim population was almost completely expelled from the West of CAR. In Berbérati, the second city of the country, they are 350 living within the walls of the diocese, without being able to walk more than 200 meters from the portal without risking an attack. Project Update - 11 Feb 2015
