On December 4, at nightfall, the MSF team conducted the first rescue of rotation 20. 74 people were on board of an overcrowded rubber boat in distress in international waters off the Libyan coast. Everyone arrived safely aboard Geo Barents despite being weak after spending 15 hours at sea amid adverse weather conditions.

I was born here, and I live in this area.
I have lived in this area since the day my mother gave birth to me in 1956.
When the Occupation came in 1967, we stayed here.
We got the first notices that our home was to be demolished in 2011. We appealed to the court through a lawyer, 
and between 2011 and 2017, they did not demolish anything. 
One day in 2017, they came and demolished the house without warning.
In 2017, they demolished four rooms and two bathrooms. 
In December 2021, they demolished five rooms and three bathrooms. 
On 11 May 2022, they demolished five rooms, three bathrooms and three caravans".

Part of MSF’s medical emergency response is conducting medical consultations at home for many people who are elderly or have NCDs or people with disabilities.
