We set up the MSF Access Campaign in 1999 to push for access to, and the development of, life-saving and life-prolonging medicines, diagnostic tests and vaccines for people in our programmes and beyond.

On the night of June 6th, the town of Kabala, with a resident population of 10,000 inhabitants and more than 2,000 recently displaced persons, was attacked by armed groups. Since the conflict between Ethiopia and Eritrea resumed on May 12, a large portion of the Eritrean population has been displaced.
