MSF closed our last COVID-19 projects in Switzerland in February 2021.

In Switzerland, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams responded to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

Between March and May 2020, medical, logistical and health promotion staff worked in projects across cantons (states) Geneva and Vaud, primarily assisting vulnerable people, refugees and the elderly.

With the second wave of the pandemic, activities resumed in November 2020, with once again a focus on vulnerable people and nursing homes, in cantons Geneva and Jura. With a decrease of cases, we ended our activities in February 2021.
