According to the Eritrean government agency, ERREC (Eritrean Relief and Refugee Commission), the advance of the Ethiopian army into Eritrea has resulted in the displacement of 550,000 Eritreans. MSF starts feeding programme in Arero-area

MSF is undertaking a quick life saving intervention in the Arero-area since there is a lack of supplementary food assistance there. The main objective is to feed children under-5 screened with the MUAC method (assessing the degree of malnutrition by measuring the middle upper arm circumference) for one month, assess water needs and prepare nutritional assessment in the coming weeks. Feeding programme for Denan

MSF is developing a Therapeutic Feeding Programme in Denan, a town in the Gode region of Ethiopia. It is expected the programme will be operational within a week. The town is located about 1.5 hours drive from Gode. The TFP will consist of a minimum of two Therapeutic Feeding Centres (TFC) to target the malnourished population there.
