MSF closed its projects in Montenegro in 2005.

MSF provided support to Kosovan refugees in Montenegro.

In 1999, MSF began working in Montenegro (then Serbia and Montenegro) to provide support and medical care to recently arrived Kosovan refugees. We ran medical clinics and improved the medical and sanitary conditions in displaced persons camps.

Until 2005, when MSF left Montenegro, we advocated for the republic’s administrative, medical, and social infrastructures to ensure displaced people enjoyed equal status alongside full citizens.
