Benin

MSF inaugurated the Umeed Ki Kiran clinic in November 2015 to respond to the medical and psychological needs of people affected by domestic and sexual violence. The clinic, located in the Jahangirpuri area of North Delhi, remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provides all services in a friendly and confidential environment through a team of trained and qualified doctors, nurses and counsellors. The services include treatment of injuries, prevention of HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases and psychosocial support. This community based clinic provides care according to the national protocol and also provides referrals to tertiary hospitals and other relevant services (legal, shelter etc.) as per requirement.
