Your conversations with IKEA customers will be key. Focus on raising awareness about the situation in Sudan. Inform, inspire, and encourage them to become regular donors, allowing MSF to respond to underreported but devastating humanitarian crises. Together, we can provide critical healthcare to those most in need.

Raising 185k is an amazing figure, but what is even more amazing is what we can achieve with it! 

This amount is equivalent to the following materials that were shipped to Sudan in the last year: 

• 4 x Emergency Room equipment: including ultrasound, defibrillator, electrocardiograph, examination table, nebulizer, pulse oximeter, and oxygen concentrator. These tools are essential for saving lives in emergency situations. 
• 2 x Inflatable Tents: Each 52m² tent features a double-wall structure, four doors for easy access and exit, designed to withstand wind speeds up to 120 km/h. These durable and comfortable shelters will provide safe spaces for medical operations and patient care. 
• 2 x Operational Theatres equipment: including surgical instruments for treating bone fractures, performing amputations, and assisting in deliveries. These theatres will enable us to conduct critical surgeries in the field. 
• 2 x Communication Kits: including 5 VHF handsets and a base station. These kits are vital for maintaining communication in remote and challenging environments, ensuring coordinated and effective responses.

Since 2013, the IKEA Foundation has been a major supporter of MSF, providing non-restricted funding that allows us to respond quickly and independently to emergencies worldwide. From the Syrian crisis to the recent Sudan war, their support has been invaluable.
