Burkina Faso
Insecurity and indiscriminate violence have forced more than one million people in Burkina Faso to leave their homes. Many now live in makeshift shelters with little access to food or water. MSF has significantly increased our activities since 2019 as the displacement crisis has worsened.
We are also responding to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in the country, providing care to patients in isolation units and dedicated facilities.
