The odds are against doctors and patients. The health sytem died years ago, a victim of war. Across the DRC, some 1,200 patients die every day... "We have a lot of children who would need an intensive care unit in the western world. Here we do what we can but it sometimes is not enough," Dr Chris Lenzen, MSF.
One or two chldren die in this clinic every day. This is the legacy of war. Congo has an emergency with no emergency response.
