MSF treats wounded after Somali clan fighting
Over the past few days MSF teams in Galcayo, Somalia, have been treating the first wounded from fighting between the Suleiman and Saad clans in central Somalia. MSF is treating the wounded in two locations: At the hospital the organisation is supporting in southern Galcayo where, so far, MSF teams have treated 80 wounded from the Saad clan; and in Adado, where over 30 Suleiman wounded have been reported. To date the wounded are men suffering from gunshot wounds. The Suleiman and Saad clans are the most populous in this part of Somalia and often live in close proximity to each other.
