Ebola Epidemic in Guinea

An Ebola epidemic was declared in Guinea-Conakry on March 22. This is the first time that the virus has been detected in the country. MSF has set up an isolation facility for suspected cases in Guéckédou and is preparing to do the same in Macenta. Both cities are in Guinea’s Forestière region, in the southern part of the country. Video contains archive footage from MSF's Ebola response in Uganda in 2007.
