MSF and Hurricane Mitch: Two years later

Post Mitch has become the most important activity for MSF in Central America. Now, two years on, the effects of the storm are still being felt. Some communities still live in squalor and the health of sections of the population is still threatened. MSF has spent over US$5 million assisting in the rebuilding of the country and 170 volunteers have worked on projects that have benefitted 1,512,000 people.
