Gallery: Kibera South Clinic in Nairobi, Kenya - One year on

One year ago, MSF opened a new clinic in Kibera, a slum in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. Kibera is home to around 250,000 people – many of whom are some of Nairobi’s most vulnerable residents.

At MSF’s Kibera South clinic, medical care is free of charge and includes inpatient and outpatient services, 24-hour maternity and delivery care as well as ongoing treatment for diseases such as HIV and TB which are common in Kibera.

Parents bring their children in for essential vaccinations, for nutritional screening and people who have been a victim of sexual violence can get treatment, support and ongoing counselling.
