ABC Radio Australia: PNG family violence needs local and overseas attention

The United Nations estimates that as many as four out of five women in Papua New Guinea will experience rape or sexual abuse at some point in their lives, and to help bring it under control it is donating nearly two and a half million dollars. 

Paul Brockmann, the outgoing PNG head of mission for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), is in the Australian capital, Canberra this week for talks with local officials and politicians about doing more to help.
