"Children's Words" Brochure

Since 2000, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been combatting HIV/Aids in Rwanda. In Kigali's Kimironko and Kinyinya Health Centres, MSF has gradually developed an innovative approach that focusses on children's specific needs. Psychosocial support gives these children a voice, allows them to play an active role in the treatment of their condition and gives them a chance to express themselves; the results have been very encouraging. The following pages must drive us to redouble our efforts, because treating a child, listening and lending a helping hand, is to offer a chance for a better tomorrow.

These children have talked to us. They have shared their fears and their dreams. They have told us what Aids is in their words, drawings and testimonies.
